The Dentist

I've been away from Neighborhood House because the inside of my ear itched and then my jaw ached a little. I have a toothache. Yesterday, I went to a new dentist. Everyone was very nice. I had an xray and an exam. I'm going back for a cleaning and full check up next week.

I didn't like the dentist when I was little, but I don't mind going now. I like getting my teeth cleaned. What experiences have you had with a dentist?

Sharing Photos

Frontenac is the pink rose bush. He is from Canada and requires very little work - just some pruning and dead heading. Work of Art is a minature rose, an orange of many colors. It requires winter protection or it will die in this climate. Fair Bianca is the white rose. She is English and also requires winter protection in order to survive our cold winters. I hope you all like the photos.

Hobbies

I have a passion for growing roses. I never really liked them before I moved to St. Paul. My neighbor loves roses, and I learned to love them too.
This year the first flush of roses was magnificent. This is Fireglow. I think it is a very testy rose: if it rains on the buds, the buds do not open. I got lucky this year, and the bush had many beautiful blooms. I also got some beautiful photos of the roses. This just one.
Do you have a passion? Do you have a hobby? What is it, and what got you started?
