My first job was yard work and gardening. At my church there were older women who needed help taking care of their gardens and doing hard work. I mowed grass, weeded gardens, moved heavy logs and dirt and other small tasks these grandmothers could not do themselves. In the winter I shoveled snow from their walkways and driveways.
