August Workshops

The last day of class is August 8th and then there is a 3 week break before classes start September 3rd.

"But teacher, I don't want to stop coming to class. I want to learn!"

Great! We have workshops during break that are each only 1 week. Here is the schedule:

11:00am-2:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

August 12-15:  Computer Lab OR English Conversation

August 19-22: Advanced Math OR Book Club

August 26-29: Writer's Workshop OR Citizenship

6:00pm-8:30pm Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

August 19-22: Citizenship

Summer is Finally Here!

Spring Break

No classes March 25th-29th. Classes begin again on April 1st.

New Year's Celebrations

We celebrate the new year on January 1.  We have many traditions for the new year.

Some people wear funny glasses and drink champagne.

Some people watch a special ball drop in New York City.

 

 Some people decide to change their lives- this is called a New Year's resolution.
